Samsung on Wednesday (September 18, 2024) announced the launch of Galaxy M55s 5G on September 23 in India. The new Galaxy “M” series phone will feature a Super AMOLED display, the company confirmed.
The Galaxy M55s 5G will have a 6.7 inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED+ display with 120 Hz refresh rate. It will be 7.8 mm thick.
The South Korean electronics major said that Galaxy M55s 5G will sport a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabalisation.
Galaxy M55s 5G has been confirmed to use a 50 MP selfie camera. The camera setup also includes dual recording feature, which lets users to record videos using the rear and front cameras simultaneously.
Galaxy M55s 5G will come in Coral Green and Thunder Black, with the availability on Amazon, Samsung and across select retail stores.
According to a report from Smartprix, the upcoming variant of the Galaxy M55 series will showcase a dual-tone, glossy finish on its rear panel. Leaked images suggest that the Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G will feature three camera units positioned vertically in the top left corner of the back. These camera units are reported to include a vertical, glossy stripe that extends through the lower half of the panel. Additionally, a vertical, sparkling stripe is anticipated to run along the extreme right edge. The power button and volume controls for the Galaxy M55s are expected to be situated on the right side, while the left edge is likely to accommodate the SIM tray. This device is anticipated to be powered by an octa-core chipset featuring cores clocked at 2.4 GHz, 2.36 GHz, and 1.8 GHz, which is believed to be the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.
