Cleveland Cavaliers beat New Orleans Pelicans for their first 9-0 start in NBA

The Cleveland Cavaliers triumphed over the New Orleans Pelicans with a score of 131-122 in an NBA matchup on Wednesday, marking their best start in franchise history at 9-0 over the past 55 years.

Donovan Mitchell, the Cavaliers’ guard, was instrumental in the victory, contributing 29 points during the game held at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

Jarrett Allen, playing as center for the Cavaliers, recorded a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Caris LeVert also scored 16 points, while Evan Mobley added 15 points and Darius Garland contributed 14 points to the team’s total.

Earlier in the week, the Cavaliers secured a narrow victory against the Milwaukee Bucks, winning 116-114 at home, which allowed them to equal the franchise record for the best start, previously set by the 1976-77 Cavaliers.
